Joan and Clive have been keen photographers for many years.

Joan, born in South Africa, now married to Clive and living in Wiltshire, UK, loves wildlife, nature, sport and landscape photography and is always in search of the ultimate 'mood' lighting. Favourite South African photographic spots include the National Parks of Southern Africa, Cape Town and the West Coast of SA. She also adores the beautiful English Landscape as well as the flora and fauna of both countries.

Joan, a keen photographer since 1974, has lectured extensively and judged many National and International Exhibitions of Photography. She was also a member of the Distinctions Panel of the Photographic Society of South Africa. Joan has won numerous awards for photography and was the winner of the Gold Medal for the Best Nature Photograph in the Royal Photographic Society International Exhibition in 1990. She has also been awarded the Fellowship of the Photographic Society of Southern Africa (FPSSA) as well as the Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain (FRPS) and the Artiste De La Federation Internationale De L'Art Photographique (AFIAP).

Clive was born in England, but has had strong links to South Africa where he met Joan.
He has been a keen and active photographer since 1972 with a great love of the natural world.

Clive is inspired by the landscape of the UK, especially in his native Wiltshire, but is also equally at home in the dry desert landscapes of Southern Africa. He also enjoys photographing the flora and fauna in the National Parks of South Africa as well as other subjects such as sport. Clive is also a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain (FRPS), and a Fellow of the Photographic Society of Southern Africa (FPSSA) and was awarded Excellence De La Federation Internationale De L'Art Photographique (EFIAP). He has been a winner of many awards including the Royal Photographic Society Gold Medal for the Best Nature Photograph in the 2005 RPS International Exhibition. Joan and Clive are therefore both winners of this prestigious photographic competition.

Clive has also lectured and judged many National and International Exhibitions of Photography and is currently a member of the Royal Photographic Society Nature Distinctions Panel.
