Silbury Hill is a prehistoric, artificial chalk mound and is part of the complex of Neolithic monuments around Avebury, Wiltshire. It was built about 4,750 years ago. On the approach to the Hill from the north side at dawn on a cold, frosty morning, the rising sun cast a pink glow over the landscape. The hoar-frost can be seen clinging to the fence and the foreground grass. A raw, cold morning but such a magical view to lift the spirits.
