Lion Pair Aggression
A Male Lion and a Lioness (Panthera leo). The pair are exhibiting typical behaviour and interaction after mating. This can be accompanied by snarling and growling and the female will often twist her head with an explosive snarl, appearing ready to cuff the male, before rolling over languidly.
